LODI - ORIO LITTA - VILLA LITTA CARINI - The rich history of Villa Litta Carini began in the seventeenth century, when the famous architect Giovanni Ruggeri thought of a grand residence that would endure the passage of time. A long walk flanked by hedges leads to the extraordinary Neoclassical porch, which marks the entrance of the property and welcomes guests with an incomparable luxurious tone. Two wide wings extend from both sides of the porch, bringing the residence to a total of 11,800 m2. On the back, several courtyards and an uncontaminated terraced garden, which overlooks the bucolic countryside, redefine the outdoor entertainment of the rich province of Lombardy. Several important personalities were guests of Villa Litta Carini and were able to enjoy its beauty, including King Umberto I and Giacomo Puccini.
